SAMSUNG Mobile UK, in partnership with The Carphone Warehouse today launched an interactive window display in the form of a giant interactive SAMSUNG Tocco Ultra Edition, which will appear in 18 Carphone Warehouse store windows across the UK. Four will be installed today at the Oxford Street and High Street Kensington stores, and all will appear by April 8th.
By deploying a touch screen interactive window display in those branches, SAMSUNG and The Carphone Warehouse aim to set a new standard in consumer experience bringing innovative platforms to the market to entertain and educate the consumer.
The interactive online system creates a ‚wow’ factor experience by replicating the new Tocco Ultra Edition on a 46″ LCD screen with an interactive touch screen capability through the store windows. The systems are all networked and running interactive digital content replicating icons and functions of the stunning new phone. The experience is designed to engage and inform the users. The display uses 2 forms of interaction, motion controlled interaction ran with a digital camera and touch detection. The system will constantly look for users in front of the system and then will encourage them to interact via sound and elegant creative.
SAMSUNG Tocco Ultra Edition’s 2.8″ Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode (AMOLED) is replicated on a SAMSUNG 46″ HD LCD with full touch screen, the interactive display flaunts astonishingly bright, clear and brilliant colours in the form of stunning digital graphics.
The touch detection technology then adds another dimension to the interactive experience by enabling the consumer to surf and browse through the applications of the new Tocco Ultra Edition, even if The Carphone Warehouse store is closed. The display offers a large screen digital interactive experience with real parallels to the Tocco Ultra Edition. Users are able to drop and drag icons across the display, inviting the user to explore the phone’s features such as music player with music track playback, calendar, weather and more all from the street.

Tokyo (April 2, 2009) – Konica Minolta IJ Technologies, Inc. announces the launch of Nassenger VII, a high-speed inkjet textile printer equipped with newly developed high-performance inkjet printheads. Sales of the printer will begin in the European market in mid-April, 2009.
The new Nassenger VII, is characterized by newly developed 512-nozzle high-speed drive inkjet printheads to deliver a maximum print speed of 210m2 per hour (about 3.6 times faster than its predecessor, Nassenger V) making it one of the fastest inkjet textile printers in the world. This printing speed allows Nassenger VII to be highly productive, comfortably meeting the needs of print works for short-run production of a variety of printing in small lots. Furthermore, equipped with a multi-gradation recording mode to control droplet size, the new printer enables the reproduction of a wide range of tones from the lightest to the darkest. Whereas it is quite difficult to produce a subtle gradation using the conventional screen textile printing, the new mode allows to meet varying design needs of the textile industry while constantly ensuring high-quality printing.
To secure high productivity, the new printer is equipped with a high-capacity ink tank that can hold 10 liters for each color. The inline degassing unit incorporated in the ink supply system ensures greater stability during long hours of operation. Capable of printing on a maximum fabric width of 1,850mm, Nassenger VII is also suitable for printing fabrics used for curtains and bed linens.
Konica Minolta will exhibit and demonstrate Nassenger VII at FESPA DIGITAL 2009, a major exhibition of screen printing and textile printing systems, to be held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, from May 12 to 14, 2009.

SANDISK ISSUES STATEMENT REGARDING ITC RULING OF NON-INFRINGEMENT OF TWO PATENTS
MILPITAS, California, April 10, 2009 – SanDisk® Corporation (NASDAQ: SNDK) was informed today that an Administrative Law Judge for the United States International Trade Commission (ITC) issued an Initial Determination which found that certain accused flash memory products did not infringe the remaining two SanDisk United States Patents.
SanDisk initially asserted five patents in the ITC on October 24, 2007 against 25 companies that manufacture, sell and import USB flash drives, CompactFlash cards, MultiMedia cards, MP3/media players and/or other removable flash storage products. Since then, SanDisk obtained judgments against the following companies: Zotek Electronic Co., Ltd. dba Zodata Technology Limited; Infotech Logistic, LLC dba Supertron Memory; Add-On Technology Co.; Behavior Tech Computer Corp.; Emprex Technologies Corp.; and Behavior Tech Computer USA Corp. dba BTC USA.
In addition, the following companies entered into settlement and license agreements with SanDisk: Trek 2000 International, Ltd., PNY Technologies, Inc., Verbatim Corp., Verbatim Americas, Add-On Computer Peripherals, Inc. and Add-On Computer Peripherals, LLC (collectively, Add-On USA), Edge Tech Corporation, Infotech Logistic, Interactive Media Corp. (Kanguru), Kaser Corporation, TSR Silicon Resources Inc., and Welldone Company.
Further, the following companies entered into settlement agreements that included consent orders where the companies agreed to limit their imports of specified products to the United States to SanDisk licensed products: A-DATA Technology Co., Ltd. and A-DATA Technology (USA) Co., Ltd. (collectively, A-DATA entities), Melco Holdings Inc., Buffalo Inc., and Buffalo Technology (USA), Inc. (collectively, Buffalo entities) and Corsair Memory, Inc.
